Humboldt Park Boathouse

The Humboldt Park Boathouse is one of the most treasured Prairie-style structures within the Chicago Park District. Its restoration began with the development of a program that would soon activate its underutilized spaces with a new cafe, exhibit hall, nature center, classrooms, and a new boat rental station. Work continued with a complete restoration of the historic structure and interior renovations to support the new program. Today, the restored Pavilion attracts a wide range of cultural activities and special events that have helped revitalize Humboldt Park and the surrounding community.
