Lane Tech College Prep High School - Chicago, Illinois

Completed in 1934, Lane Tech College Prep High School is the largest school in the Chicago Public School system with an enrollment of 4,500 students.  The 600,000 square foot school-building is situated on a 30-acre campus that includes landscaped courtyard and lawn areas, an athletic stadium, additional athletic fields, supporting out-buildings, and a 400 space parking-lot.

The 4-story, brick and terra cotta structure is designed in the Tudor-Gothic style and houses not only educational spaces, but also a 2,050 seat auditorium, 4 gymnasia, a swimming pool, a collegiate-style library, and over 75 WPA-era murals.  The $50M restoration of Lane Tech ensures the legacy of this nationally recognized high school as it enters its second century of serving Chicago scholars.
