TIny Tap, Chicago Riverwalk

The Chicago River has long been a treasured natural amenity in the urban canyon of world-famous architecture. Since 2011, the downtown portions of the river have been transformed into an urban recreational park with a myriad of opportunities to enjoy Chicago’s waterfronts and architecture. The Chicago Riverwalk covers 1.25-miles through the heart of the city and with a variety of recreational, cultural, and culinary activities for residents and visitors to access and enjoy the river.

Tiny Tapp and Tiny Café on the Riverwalk is one of the remarkable gathering spaces along the river offering food, drinks and outdoor live entertainment throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The design of this unique space considered space efficiency, seasonal use flexibility, and proximity to fluctuating water levels.  Tiny Tapp is a popular and lively space to enjoy a unique and beautiful view of the Chicago River.
